Penas Blancas border crossing by car

On 14th October 2018 we hit the Penas Blancas border crossing by car. This was a Costa Rican car in my name. We were a bit nervous about this border crossing, as we had heard it is a rather difficult…

    Arribada in Ostional

I adore sea turtles! If reïncarnation exists, I’m pretty sure I must have been a sea turtle in a previous life. I can relate to so many characteristics associated with sea turtles. I even carry a sea turtle with me…

    Buying a Costa Rican car

One of the main reasons to start our journey in Costa Rica was the ease of buying our own car here. Our first plans were to drive from Panama to Mexico or vice versa. That meant we would have to…

About us

We are the Wondering Family, a full time traveling family. We have decided to follow our dreams and escape the regular nine-to-five to do what we really want to do. And that is travelling the world full time, to explore new places, enjoy new experiences and to truly connect as a family.

We love local markets, reading in our hammocks, sunsets over the sea, howler monkeys in the trees, catching the waves on a surf- or bodyboard, eating local foods, taking a dip under a waterfall, learning and growing in many different ways…

We just love life, and we feel alive living the life we love and loving the life we live.
